I’ve always been enthusiastic about great stories, which lead me to pursue a career as an Author. Over the years I was too scared to contact Publishers. Eventually I plucked up the courage but was rejected.
Finally I decided to do something most writers believe to be career suicide. I self-published. I knew if I continued to wait for my dream to happen, it probably never would. So I made it happen. I took the plunge and I have learned so much because of it. I feel a stronger sense of accomplishment because I did it myself.
So my advice to any budding writer's is don't wait for your dream to begin. Take the first step. Tiptoe if you must and learn from your mistakes along the way.
This website is not only a place where I can connect with a wider audience but a place where you will find samplings of my work, ranging from published stories to more personal pieces, which I invite you to explore and enjoy.

ABOUT ME
My Bio
Writing has always been a passion of mine, and being able to turn it into a fulfilling career has been my lifelong dream. I began my career by self-publishing my very first children's book 'The Jungle Bop'. I was inspired to write them for my children who I would make up stories at bedtime for. They loved them so much I wanted other children to enjoy them too.
Since then, I’ve gone on to write, illustrate and publish 10 more, linking them all to the character in my first book. Self-publishing has had its problems but I learned from my mistakes along the way and never looked back. Each new book teaches me how to be better and now I have improved my techniques and developed my skills. All books are available on Amazon now.
